A new set of suspension with revised specs resulted in a great start for David Kamo, and he carried that momentum through much of the race, settling into second place while holding off Pearson for the first half. But a bent brake rotor early in the second half forced him off the pace and he settled for third place on the day and sixth in final points, unoffcially.
