Corona, CA – September 10, 2012 - Husqvarna’s Fred Andrews Racing (FAR) team was back in action this weekend, this time at the Leadbelt National Enduro in Park Hills, Missouri, where riders Andrew Delong and Nick Davis put in solid rides at round eight of the series.
Rain on Friday made for ideal conditions on Saturday. Andrew took to the sandy trails aboard his TXC310 and scored consistent top-ten finishes in the test sections. Though he felt it was not his best performance, his solid effort led him to an eighth place finish. “My TXC310 was working good, but I just couldn’t put it together today,” said Andrew. “I had a hard time seeing the arrows today and I just could not get used to the sandy track sections.”

Fellow FAR racer Nick Davis had his work cut out for him after getting lost on the first test of the day. “I missed an arrow and ended up on a different test,” Nick said. “I had a lot of ground to make up and rode my best. I had a few good tests and finished 13th on the day.”
Andrew is currently eighth overall in the National Enduro championship with two rounds left in the series. The next race for the FAR Husqvarna team is the Unadilla GNCC in New York on September 16.
