The rights of off-road riders in Burke, County, North Carolina (home of the Steele Creek GNCC in Morganton, NC) are under attack by a proposed zoning ordinance that would put strict sound requirements on commercial tracks used for practice and racing. There is a Burke County Public hearing being held this evening at 6:00pm. Evan Veness, owner of the Carolina Powersports Promotions riding area in Morganton is offering free t-shirts to the first 100 off-road riding supporters to attend the meeting.
