This has been a crazy long day, and I’m going to keep this post short on words and long on photos. The photos kind of tell the story of the day anyway. We woke up and it was starting to flurry, which turned into full-on white-out conditions here at the hotel. Unfortunately the snow here meant rain in the lower elevation at the track, and we spent the majority of the day getting rained on and huddling in a tiny building at the track. Kailub and Josh got to put in a few hot laps on a shortened version of the race course, and it was good to hear them both say the conditions aren’t nearly as bad as they looked. I got to finally see my Fantic 200 4-stroke that I’ll be racing tomorrow morning, and it really doesn’t look too bad. Let’s just hope it can haul my fat butt up the hills! That’s about it, we’re heading to the track at 6:00 tomorrow morning and I’m dead tired.
